🎥 Your Creativity ≠ Your Worth

🎥 Your Creativity ≠ Your Worth

If your self worth is dependent on your Creative Output, burnout can be detrimental.

As I’m getting older, I’m learning to unravel my identity from the things I create. It isn’t easy - I’ve spent 20+ years judging myself based on the last painting I made or video I published.

I’m trying not to do that anymore.

It’s totally fine to just express my creativity because it brings me joy, and to try new things and be abysmally terrible at them, and sometimes it’s okay to not make anything at all for a very long time.

Your worth is not dependent on what you produce, or how many people see it.

I’ve been stewing on this topic a lot, and ironically wanted to make a video about it. Even more ironically, it’s my favorite thing I’ve made in a while.

If you are currently burnt out, I have great news for you:

Your creative energy hasn’t gone anywhere, it just needs a new outlet.

Appreciate you reading this & have an ELITE week,

Hannah
