While it can be disheartening to realize how few people make it even 3 minutes into your video, you must look at this graph in order to improve.

The moments where there is a steep decline in viewership offer clarity as to where your video loses viewer attention.

The diagnosis can be challenging.

Maybe the visuals are unclear? Or is the narration slow? Or is the music the problem?

You will get better at identifying the cause with time.

Ultimately, the practice of reviewing your retention curves will increase the rate at which you improve. That is what separates the great video marketers from the masses.
