🎥 How to Use ChatGPT in Video Marketing

100+ new AI tools were released in the last week alone.

It’s completely unrealistic to keep up with every single one, but ChatGPT is a great place to start.

We’ve used ChatGPT within Piper Creative for a bunch of different projects now, here are our 3 best use cases:

1. Standard Operating Procedures

Whether it’s planning out the logistics of a shoot or developing brand assets for a YouTube series, we need flushed-out process docs for everything we do.

By asking Chat GPT, “Develop a Standard Operating Procedure for conducting an in-person shoot for my video production agency,” it will produce a document that’s about 70% complete.

You can take the bones of the answer and build it out with the specific, relevant details to for you and your team.

2. Script Writing

In case you missed it, ChatGPT wrote Piper Creative a script for a Super Bowl commercial.

Sure, certain things had to be tweaked, but by adding requests like “use a suspenseful tone” or “add some comedic relief,” you actually have a lot of control over the first draft it spits out.

We’re still working out the best way to train ChatGPT to develop a longer-form script for video essays, but overall it’s been useful for short-form marketing videos.

3. Video Topic Ideas

I use this one all the time. Some of the prompts I’ve used to generate video topics are:

• Give me 20 topics for marketing videos for my video production agency

• List 30 YouTube Titles for my video marketing channel

• What are the 10 most important factors in making a video for YouTube?

Sometimes I use the suggestions, sometimes I don’t - the point is to get the brainstorming juices flowing. It almost always comes up with a few ideas I haven’t considered or could spin in my own way.
